FAQ
What does SportingMaster do different from a traditional clay launcher?
SportingMaster allows you to change speed, angle, direction and launch sequences remotely, creating hundreds of realistic and repeatable target presentations from a single machine with the click of a button.
Traditional clay target launchers produce the same presentation repeatedly.
Can SportingMaster replace multiple traps?
Yes, as a minimum two traps since it has two launchers that can have two entirely different target scenarios setup.
Meanwhile you can save multiple shooting programs of your own liking on the SportingMaster and change in between them with the click of a button (no wrenches required). One machine can therefore create a wide range of presentations in minutes, which would otherwise require multiple fixed traps.
Which target presentations can SportingMaster create?
Virtually anything you can imagine.
SportingMaster can create a wide range of target presentations, including rabbits, crossers, driven, rabbits, outgoing (going away) and more.
By combining adjustable launch direction, angle, speed and custom programs, SportingMaster can replicate everything from traditional sporting clays setups to entirely unique presentations tailored to your training objectives.
How do I launch the targets?
SportingMaster supports several launch/trigger methods:
- Web interface (WiFi)
- Mobile app (cellular connection)
- Long-range remote control
- Motion sensor
Why does SportingMaster require software updates?
Software updates allow new features, programs and improvements to be added over time, extending the life of the product and protecting your investment.
Can the target capacity be customized?
Absolutely. SportingMaster uses modular magazine tubes available in capacities from 25 to 75 targets. Depending on your configuration, the system can hold between 200 to 600 clay targets, reducing reload frequency during extended training sessions.
What targets does SportingMaster use?
SportingMaster uses Nordic Clays 110 mm Bio Clays Pro targets.
What battery does SportingMaster use?
SportingMaster is powered by an external 12V battery. We recommend a 12V battery with a minimum capacity of 60 Ah and standard round battery terminals. This setup provides reliable all-day operation and allows the battery to be easily replaced or recharged when needed.
Note: SportingMaster does not include a battery as standard, allowing users to choose the battery solution that best fits their needs and local availability.
How long will the battery last?
Battery life depends on battery capacity, usage, launch frequency and environmental conditions. A fully charged battery is designed to support extended training sessions.
